The artist does not choose to be sensitive and creative. The artist is born sensitive and creative. At a certain point in life, the artist decides to cultivate an innate passion: the ability to be moved, to metabolize these emotions, to express them on a canvas or on the formless material before him, to feel shy before his own unfinished work, to modify himself as he creates, to feel fulfilled at the moment of completing his own 'creature'. For me, this is what 'making art' means.
