India
The series dedicated to the Aghori explores one of the most enigmatic and controversial traditions of India. Radical followers of the cult of Shiva, the Aghori live on the fringes of society to embrace a spiritual path based on overcoming all duality: pure and impure, life and death, sacred and profane. In my works, I wanted to capture this mystical and visceral tension, transforming it into essential forms and a visual language that reflects their extreme search for inner freedom. The faces, postures, and symbols evoke a journey into the shadow, where the limit becomes revelation and darkness a gateway to the sacred.
