The artwork depicts the entrance to a pub, rich in detail and with a lived-in atmosphere. In the center of the scene there is a man seated on the threshold. The man's figure becomes the central focal point of the image, conveying a moment of pause and contemplation.

The work arises from the desire to tell not only about a place, but also about the atmosphere that surrounds it.
