Magical Turin

The painting is based on a photograph taken on the Isabella Bridge in Turin and depicts the autumn landscape reflected in the Po River at dawn.

I wanted to paint an autumn landscape in order to be able to use warm colors. The photograph struck me because it captured a glimpse of Turin that, in the dawn light, took on a distinctive effect.
