The Carnival of the Soul Between Shadows and Cement

In this work, a scenario is depicted that mirrors today's society, with social codes of conduct and ways of appearing that nearly destroy individuality and originality, making anyone who decides to break these social conventions and show themselves as they feel without fear seem insane or mad. Indeed, an individual who stands out with color and joy is shown amid a mass of flat, gray people, who wear a judgmental and derisive air.

The idea for this work originated mainly from a reflection on the concept of madness, and I decided to apply it to a social context to show the impact that the way one presents themselves has on others.
